When to depart? Avoid Thursday afternoon, which is very busy. Prefer a departure on Thursday morning or Friday morning for smoother travel.
Accessing the Palais des Festivals without wasting time
Our tips to avoid queues at the main entrances:
- Collect your badge in advance: Don’t queue at the Palais on Tuesday morning. Collect your accreditation on Monday at the Gare Maritime (right next to the Palais) or use the automatic kiosks if available.
- Use the “Jetée Albert-Edouard” entrance: Less known than the main Croisette entrance, it is often smoother for direct access to the outdoor pavilions and yachts.
